As of January 9th 2013 Landlords and Property Owners in England and Wales are required to provide an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to any prospective tenant or purchaser when they rent, sell or build a residential or commercial property.
Energy Performance Certificates are graded on a scale of A-G, this tells you house efficient a home or property is. The most efficient homes and properties should have the lowest fuel bills, these would be graded with an A rating.

What is Legionella?
Legionella or Legionnaires disease, is a potentially fatal form of Pneumonia, caused by inhalation of contaminated droplets of water that contain Legionella.
What are Landlord Duties?
Under Section 3(2) of the Health & Safety ACT 1974, Landlords have a Health & Safety duty to take suitable precautions to prevent your tenants being exposed to the risk of Legionella.
What do our Assessors do?
We report on the condition of the Hot and Cold water system, along with cold water storage tanks, water systems, calorifiers and Hot water cylinders. Our Assessors are certified and carry out assessments in accord with ACop L8. We will provide a comprehensive recommendations report to help you implement measures to prevent or control the risk of exposure to Legionella.
