What is PAT Testing.
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is a safety check on your property's non-fixed electricals, basically, any appliance that plugs into a socket for power and that is not fixed. So Kettles, Toasters, Washing Machines, Ovens etc are all Portable Appliances.
We can carry out a PAT whilst drafting your Inventory, our Inventory Clerks are PAT trained.
Although not yet an offical legal requirement as of June 2022 legislation, it is best practice for Landlords. Your Legal requirements are to ensure a safe environment for your tenants, and Landlords MUST be aware of the consequences in the event they don't carry out a PAT.
